The starting point.
Techniques for production.
Technique is necessary for production. The things made by that technique, so many manufactured things of a year will be used by the hands of many people in a year.
We have various kinds of basic manufacturing techniques after producing articles over a long period of time. We devise our products to suit the needs and requests of our clients. At times, we are pressed for time and can’t decide a new production strategy.
At these times, we can find a solution by changing our way of thinking. This in turn, cheers us up.
Products made in this way are then sent to?market by the teamwork of all the staff. This is the time we can feel satisfaction. ‘Oh God! I hope we can get a large order…’

The succession of technique
Think of the old style of technical succession, passed on from man to man or from hand to hand. In short, this to copy the example of one’s teacher or by oral instruction. This must be adjusted to keep up with the times. In fact it’s almost impossible to make requirements on young people who already have some preliminary skills and the ability to think. Our aim is that they fit themselves in by completing a technical training program by our manual which is kept on a computer system. And in this way hand the techniques on to the next generation of workers.
By doing things this way, if someone can operate a computer he or she can access the stored information of how to make a pair of gloves.
Let’s take a concrete example. We use?PATORIE (Toray Apparel CAD Computer system) to make a paper pattern. There are about 1,000 kinds of different data on glove making installed on our computer. The young people downloading this information who otherwise have no prior basic technical knowledge can then work with this information.
We intend keeping a great deal of technical data on computers from now on.
One of our urgent assignments is to keep data with a common language(Windows Version OS) This is to create the NAIGAI Library as the president describes it.
Then a legacy of technical information and know-how will be completed with this assignment. So as long as NAIGAI exists, the true structure and technical legacy of our company will be handed on to the next generation of workers by passing on this know-how and information in this way.
Personal Production Goals
No matter who the client is or how much money is involved, I’d like to produce something, keeping in mind the person who will be using it.
I like to keep a key eye on things from all angles.
To do this, I also realize I’m not the only one who is ‘right’. At times I have to accept personal defeats without objections and continue without creating any trouble. These are my aims.
My idea is to have a passionate tenacity like a Japanese iron tea kettle that heats for a long time till glowing red and at melting point. On the other hand, I think of a situation like a horse that keeps on eating grass on the edge of a cliff as it tumbles down to the sea.
In other words, I want to make every effort while having an easygoing, calm appearance but with a tenacious work spirit.
A Global Standard
Snowboarding is a sport which has gained tremendous popularity in recent years. Snowboarding, which is fashionable, is now going into the next stage of technical development. There are some remarkable things happening with these developments.
We’ve been making strong, waterproof of products in new styles, bringing the special features associated with these great high-quality materials made through many years of experience and technique. This is our basic policy of production and shall not change.
