Calligraphy in black (sumi) ink on the title pages.?

 

This another part of Japanese culture.

 

Calligraphy written in black ink on Japanese paper has the favor of ‘Wabi’ (quiet elegance) and also ‘sabi’ (elegant simplicity) Vanity is eliminated and one sees the taste of a delicate, yet bold and lively art form. This is also as part of NAIGAI’S culture.

 

This piece was written by the president of NAIGAI?whose pen name is Shyofu.

 

STAGE 3 making a HOME PAGE

 

Stage 3 took almost a year to complete after collecting 370 photos and related pieces of information including comments.

 

This time, we all joined together to contribute and make it. Everyone contributed a few lines for the home page and those on business trips abroad took photographs. Thanks to everyone’s cooperation we’ve built a substantial page.

 

At first, we were thinking about NAIGAI in the year 2010 to make the home page. But in uncertain times we should perhaps consider the staff at the present moment rather than think about how we’ll be in 2010.

When we first decided to make a home page, we wondered if everyone would write an article or not?

 

But we thought this would be a good chance for everyone to work together in the same direction and so we asked them to contribute. We were very impressed to get so many comments from so many diverse personalities.

 

None had the same comments. This was surprising and showed that each had their own unique personalities and their own wonderful ideas. To make a home page like this was very meaningful.

 

Everyone happily made contributions to this request and everyone also posed willingly for the camera Thanks to their cooperation it became a very enjoyable exercise even though the editorial works was tough.

 

STAGE 3 with joint produce

 

Thanks to everyone’ help, stage 3 was completed. A home page where everyone’s faces and ideas are reflected. Stage 3 was made with the cooperation of everybody and we’re very proud of it. It has also unified the minds of us all here.
