He goes on these trips to negotiate exports and imports to the US, Europe and Japan and rushes around making arrangements for production at the factories in Indonesia and Sri Lanka

 

It’s his business policy to ensure we offer good merchandise to all our wonderful customers.

 

The results of his business efforts have started paying off. He believes that to make a stable business basis is the most important thing.

I worked for another company for eight years before joining NAIGAI. In those days I couldn't say that I was “satisfied with my present circumstances” Everyday my only thought was : “What should I do next?”

This is such a waste !

 

As much as possible, I’d like to energise and utilize my brain to take advantage of this precious chance given to me.

 

In my childhood, I remember there was a popular song which said, “Go forward one step a day, so in three days go three steps. Go forward three steps then back two steps.”

 

Maybe this song is trying to tell us that we sometimes need to take a break during our efforts to create a solid business during the high-speed-growth period of business?

 

Of course it’s also important to take a rest and recharge our energy to keep on working.
But it seems to be a waste to turn back for any reason. In the “IT age” with such rapid development, it’s impossible to turn back, especially at our company NAIGAI.

 

There is for us, only going forward without any turning back. But it’s also important for us to take it on ourselves to take a break on our off days, Saturdays and Sundays, take control of ourselves and be ready to go forward. Moreover, I think just personal effort has limits just by itself.

 

I’m sure that if people help each other, we’ll become a stronger force and can then bring unexpected results for all of us. My plan is to combine members of our team and make a strong environment.

 

To the third generation of Snow Sports

 

The snowboard has now surpassed the ski and become the star of winter sports.

 

The styles of glove have also been changing all the time, we make use of these changes to utilize every available material gathered from all over the world and develop them to a higher level in the form of our products.

 

Developments in snow sports are as rapid as those in our gloves.?

 

What does time require us to develop next?

 

Originality and Inventiveness everyday

 

For we, the businessmen of the manufacturing company, there is something like a planner…

 

On the other days when we barely make a new design through our efforts to please a client. Normally we would be happy just to have the client’s appreciation.

 

But we always go further than that. We don’t want just appreciation which after all lasts only a short while. We do much more. At times like a designer and a copywriter and at other times we feel the deep emotion which comes from seeing the product which we made after so much trial and error.

 

It may be an exaggeration, but at times, we even feel our products have some of our DNA.

 

In the end it’s all about having a good reputation!

 

Having a large number of orders!!

 

The taste of beer at such times is great. We are working hard at the moment anticipating these feelings.

 

My Field

 

I’m often asked by friends and acquaintances, ‘How’s that country?’ ‘What did you find out about it?’
My answer is always the same. The fact is, I don’t know anything about it.

 

All other countries are different from Japan in the areas of customs, food, and the way of thinking, etc. In so many ways, to tell the truth, I could be in another country but never feel that I’ve understood it at all.
I’m not sure I even understand my own country that well.

 

But working with strangers from countries I don’t know much about can be lot of fun. And I’m very happy to have such a job that allows me to do this.

 

I’m also wondering about the future and the countries I will go to and the new people I will work with in this shrinking world?
